We live in a vast magical Universe. The universe is really big, and really old. Those are my non-scientific estimates of the Space the universe takes up and the Time it has been here.

Most of it is nothing, but it’s big and it’s old. Like really old. You can explore Time to learn and understand just how old Everything is and what we’ve been able to learn about it all during our brief time here on Planet Earth.

The Big Bang

The theory goes that everything began with a Big Bang. Now, this doesn’t provide much insight into how such a thing could happen or what existed before or outside of the place where that big bang happened, but given the behavior of the universe, it does seem plausible that it all started with an explosion.

Light Speed

If you think of the Big Bang as a firework going off, you can imagine all of the burning embers flying out in various directions. For the most part, these embers obey Einstien’s E=MC2 laws of gravity, etc., but there are other secret things at play like Black Holes pulling things in various directions.

Now

Us little humans living here on Planet earth are way out at the edge of the univere. So much time has passed and we are so far away from that original explosion, that I think there’s a chance a lot of it is gone even though we are still just seeing the light today.
